The rigorous judging process, based on the views of a panel of leading private equity COOs, CFOs, CCOs, GCs and CTOs, ensures these awards stand out from the crowd as ‘ones to win’ and we hope they act as a catalyst to drive up service standards across the sector. The criteria for each award is listed below but the judging committee would like to highlight the importance of providing glowing client testimonials as part of your entry. All judges sign NDAs before joining the panel and all information provided as part of the submission will be kept completely confidential.

JUDGING

The judging period will be from 1 December 2016 – 30 November 2017.

The judging process is rigorous and thorough to ensure that all entries receive full consideration and that the true winners are chosen.

Judges will take part in a judging conference call, where the winners will be decided, with one expert per category will be asked to summarise the judges’ comments and provide any additional input as required. Judges have discretionary power to move submissions into alternative categories they think more suitable. All judges are required to sign a disclaimer form to keep information about entries and the final winners confidential.

THE JUDGING PANEL

The judging process, using an independent panel made up of industry experts, as well as The Drawdown editorial team, will be based on a mixture of qualitative and quantitative performance indicators, including:

Growth: performance track-record, client numbers, internal hires and geographic expansion

Product innovation: details of new services and products launched over the course of 2016/2017

Client satisfaction: provide evidence of client satisfaction, including evidence of exceptional service and direct client statements

Any additional subjective measures that you believe differentiate your institution within the field of private equity.

Judges will take part in a judging conference call, where the winners will be decided. One expert judge per category will be asked to summarise the judges' comments. Judges have discretionary power to move submissions into alternative categories that they think may be more suitable. The judges are carefully selected for their wealth of experience and expertise, as well as their absence of conflicts of interest.

PLEASE NOTE: Judges cannot judge any categories that their company has submitted for and are obliged to declare that they have no conflicts of interest prior to judging.

Host: Patrick Monahan

Patrick started off on the glamorous Irish/Iranian/Geordie circuit in his native north east of England before being invited to perform all over the world from Australia to Dubai, Barbados, St Lucia, Spain, France, Ireland and Germany to name but a few.

He has also appeared at the Edinburgh Festival and even performed in the Royal Albert Hall in London.

Patrick's TV appearances have included The Comedy Store (Paramount Comedy Channel), Comedy Map of Britain (BBC), and as a contender on Tom Daley's competitive diving series Splash (ITV).
